Important considerations of J.B. Morin from Astrologia Gallica by Juan Estadella

(Within the Theory of Determinations, and with respect to the effects of the planetary aspects)

1. The effects of the aspects depend on the essential nature of the planet:

a) Beneficial aspects that come from benefic planets: favorable.
b) Maleficent aspects that come from malefic planets: unfavorable.
c) Beneficial aspects that come from malefic planets: variable.
d) Maleficent aspects that come from beneficial planets: variable.

These considerations can be concretized more, according to Morin:

2. The effects of the aspects depend on the essential nature of the planet, its cosmic state and the cosmic state of the planet that receives the aspects:

Benefic planets:

a) In good cosmic state, making a harmonious aspect with good cosmic state of the receiving planet: favorable effects, facilitating the good that promises the house and avoiding the bad.
b) In good cosmic state, making a harmonious aspect with poor cosmic state of the recipient planet: favorable effects, but weak.
c) In good cosmic condition, making an inharmonic aspect with good cosmic state of the receiving planet: favorable effects.
d) In good cosmic condition, making an inharmonic aspect with poor cosmic state of the recipient planet: slightly unfavorable effects.
e) In poor cosmic state, making a harmonious aspect with good cosmic state of the recipient planet: slightly favorable effects.
f) In poor cosmic state, making a harmonic aspect with bad state of the receiving planet: very unfavorable effects.
g) In poor cosmic state, making an inharmonic aspect with good cosmic state of the receiving planet: slightly unfavorable effects.
h) In poor cosmic state, making an inharmonic aspect with bad state of the recipient planet: very unfavorable effects.

Malefic planets:

a) In good cosmic state, making a harmonious aspect with good cosmic state of the recipient planet: slightly favorable effects.
b) In good cosmic state, making a harmonic aspect with poor cosmic state of the recipient planet: very unfavorable effects.
c) In good cosmic condition, making an inharmonic aspect with good cosmic state of the recipient planet: effects not very favorable.
d) In good cosmic condition, making an inharmonic aspect with poor cosmic state of the recipient planet: unfavorable effects, but very unfavorable in malefic houses.
e) In poor cosmic state, making a harmonious aspect with good cosmic status of the recipient planet: very slightly favorable effects.
f) In poor cosmic state, making a harmonious aspect with poor cosmic state of the recipient planet: very unfavorable effects.
g) In poor cosmic state, making an inharmonic aspect with good cosmic status of the recipient planet: unfavorable effects, but very unfavorable in malefic houses.
h) In poor cosmic state, making an inharmonic aspect with poor cosmic state of the recipient planet: very unfavorable, harmful and serious effects.
