The horoscope of Peru

Introduction
The present study, by way of documentary and astrological research, aims to determine the true horoscope of Peru; his birth as a country, from an astrological point of view.

I am aware that a good number of Peruvian astrologers have been operating a national horoscope for years. However, in our discipline it is not only healthy to rethink about the data and tools that we use in our daily practice, for a specific moment, but it becomes essential to be able to evolve and progress within our field.

It is necessary, as astrologers, to know our maximum astrological reference, at a national level: the horoscope of the country. However, to be able to interpret and predict correctly, it is essential to have accurate natal data and a corrected time. And in this work, I expose my rectification of the horoscope of Peru, obtained through the most advanced predictive techniques and with the help of a specialized astrological software to rectify hours of birth with the help of computers.

I also introduce, transversally, an important consideration: the validity of the domination by the Topocentric System, the true system of houses.
In this study I also expose a surprising reality: certain historical facts of the past, related to what we know today as Peru, have a close relationship with the rectified horoscope that I present in this work, after these events.

The horoscope of a country In world astrology, there is a section that we call “worldly horoscopes”, which includes the horoscopes of countries, of political regimes -such as monarchy or republic-, constitutions, the horoscope of the head of state, the beginning of a political mandate or cities , among other relevant horoscopes nationally or globally. Here, according to the study that concerns us, we are going to treat the horoscope of the country. It is appropriate, then, to approach this type of national horoscope, showing what information can provide us, both at an interpretive and predictive level, from an astrological point of view.

The horoscope of a country represents, in some way, the political, economic, social or cultural framework of a given nation. It reflects all aspects of a given physical space. It encompasses everything that, on a national level, can condition its inhabitants. This horoscope conditions, then, the individual horoscopes, which are subject to the national astrological reality.

The date that is usually taken as valid for the birth of a country, is usually varied: spontaneous proclamations of states, such as that of Israel in 1948, transfers of sovereignty from one state to another, such as the case of Cuba in 1902, constituent assemblies, union or segregation of two or more states and other political formulas. Unfortunately, it is not always possible to have the national horoscope for a given country. Sometimes, as in the case of Spain, we do not know at what precise moment this country began to function as a single state. In other cases, as in Peru itself, there are different candidate dates to be part of the country’s horoscope.

As I noted earlier, the national horoscope can offer us information about the political, social, economic or cultural reality of the country itself. Astrologically, we can interpret this horoscope to extract all the juice, all the information that, keeping the distances, we obtain when examining the horoscope of an individual. And beyond the interpretation of this horoscope, also at a predictive level we can find out what to expect in the immediate or distant future of that country. Everything that affects the geographical space of the state, everything that occurs within it, must be appropriately reflected in time, through transits, primary and secondary directions, solar revolutions and other predictive techniques.
In relation to the interpretation of this type of horoscope, we must bear in mind that, with respect to an individual horoscope, there are some differences in the planetary symbolism and in the meaning of the different houses or sectors. However, interpreting the horoscope of a country does not offer any difficulty.
Next, I will present in a synthetic way the generic meaning of the planets and the houses in the horoscope of a country:

Planets
Sun: Shows the basic, essential nature of the country. It also represents the supreme authority, the head of state, the prime minister, the power.
Luna: The people, the masses, women, social issues.
Mercury: Communications, commerce, markets.
Venus: The social and mundane life, the arts, peace, comfort.
Mars: The industry, the activity of the country, the army, war, violence.
Jupiter: The law, the bourgeoisie, the clergy, high finance, prosperity in general.
Saturn: The structure of the state or administration, the territorial properties, the mines and quarries, the stagnation, the restrictions.
Uranus: Technology, scientific progress, changes, civic groupings.
Neptune: Navigation, illicit activities, disorganization, floods, strikes.
Pluto: The transformations, the crises, the capacity for regeneration, the catastrophes.
Houses
House I: The country itself, its general disposition, its image. General characteristics of the nation. The Ascendant shows the national character.

House II: The economy of the country, the own resources, the treasure, the values of the state, the financial organizations.
House III: Communications, transport, propaganda, elections, internal trade, the press.
House IV: Domestic or internal issues of the country. Territorial properties, agriculture, monuments, state heritage.
House V: Sports, cultural events, shows, parties, education, births, investments.

House VI: The administration and bureaucracy, the health, the public services, the factories, employment in general, food. House VII: Relations with other countries, agreements or treaties, diplomacy, conflicts and arbitration. House VIII: Mortality, taxes, deep reforms, financial agreements with others countries, public debt. House IX: Foreign countries, foreign trade, colonies, distant expeditions, clergy, law, scientific institutions, universities, emigration. House X: The direction of the country, the power supreme, the government, the prestige of the country. House XI: Allied and protective countries, trade unions, corporations, associations. House XII: Social works, prisons, asylums, hospitals, espionage, plots.

These are some of the general indications corresponding to the meaning of a planet or a house in the horoscope of a country. However, given the clear parallelism that is observed both in planets and in houses with respect to the natal horoscope, it is enough to apply a simple extrapolation of the meaning of a planet or house to the mundane sphere, to obtain a greater richness, a focalization at the level of meanings . As I point out in my work on mundane astrology, in the case of a planet, its pure symbolism is enough to find an equivalent in this section. For example: Mercury, in a national horoscope can mean, in the abstract, the intelligence, can represent the intellectuals, the literary world, journalistic, even scientific. It also symbolizes publications of all kinds, the publishing world and other meanings, derived directly from the planet itself, its nature and symbolism. In the same way, we can extend the meaning of houses or sectors. As an example, we can point out that House XII not only represents ordinary prisons, but also all kinds of detention centers, such as correctional facilities, mental hospitals, clinics, homes for the elderly, hospices or charities. And on another level, House XII can represent all kinds of setbacks on a national scale: epidemics, plagues or disasters in general. Obviously, the life of a person or a country is rich, complex, varied, and in astrology we must explain a personal or national reality with only twelve signs, twelve houses, ten planets and their aspects; therefore, the study of a personal or national topic should be approached with a certain breadth, as I have shown.
At a predictive level, we can also extract a large amount of information from national horoscopes. They are perfectly valid predictive techniques that are applied in natal or genetlíaca astrology, such as Transits, Primary Directions, Secondary Directions or Progression, PSSR, SRA, Cyclic Letters or the same Solar and Lunar Revolutions.

In relation to the practical application of this type of techniques in the horoscope of a country, in this study we will be able to see, later, several real examples, having as protagonist the same horoscope of Peru.

Historical considerations about the birth of Peru
It is impossible to establish a horoscope that encompasses practically the entire Andean ancestral culture, all its inhabitants before the Christian era, other cultures that have already disappeared. It is only possible to determine the horoscope of modern Peru, of the state that was born as a consequence of an emancipation of the mother country, which split off from the viceroyalty, which cut off its colonial umbilical cord, so to speak. However, this Peru really embraces and represents the Andean culture as well as the modern urban culture of the great Peruvian cities of the 21st century. This state is the heir of the men and women who inhabited this same land hundreds and thousands of years ago. The blood of those first settlers, their phylogenetic roots, has been perpetuated through new generations, until today. Therefore, it is possible to find a horoscope that faithfully reflects the cultural, social, economic or political reality of this country, still translated into the 21st century. And it is necessary, as astrologers, to know our maximum astrological reference, at the national level: the natal chart of the nation, the horoscope of the country.

However, one of the problems facing the astrologer is: what date to take as the birth of the state itself? In many countries, it is not clear when the state was born as such. As I have pointed out in the section where it exposed the astrological reality of the country itself, in some countries, due to its age or complex historical circumstances, it is not possible to establish the precise moment in which the astrological mechanism was put into operation. It is not always feasible to locate the instant that the cosmic clock began to work, proclaiming itself a state; This is the case of Spain, because we do not know when Castilla and Aragón, as independent kingdoms, began to function as a single state, Spain. Dates or key moments are not lacking, from a historical point of view; but as the great Goethe said, gray is all theory and green is the golden tree of life. All are hypotheses and theories. With Peru, being a relatively modern country, young, less than two hundred years old, historical dates and events are fresher, more accessible to the historian and the astrologer. Here, we have several candidate dates to be part of the day that modern Peru was born. I know that the Peruvian astrologer handles, mostly, the date of July 28, 1821, but we must rethink everything again before accepting this date blindly. Nor does there exist, at the international level, a minimum consensus about which horoscope to use for Peru. It may be a lack of information or knowledge on the part of the foreign astrologer, but to realize this, I refer you to a classic work on national horoscopes: The Book of World Horoscopes. This book, whose author is the well-known British astrologer Nicholas Campion, is a monumental compilation of horoscopes of countries; hundreds and hundreds of data of foundation of states, ancient and modern. Well, in the section of Peru, this author presents two proposals, two possible horoscopes of Peru. The first, for July 28, 1821, raised by 12 noon, for not knowing the author the moment in which the proclamation of the state occurred. The second horoscope he proposes, is for December 9, 1824, for 10 am (local time), in Ayacucho (Peru). This date corresponds to the Battle of Ayacucho. According to Campion, this last horoscope, raised by the time that battle ended, is taken as the moment of Peru’s complete independence. This author says, literally: “The conclusion of the battle is taken as the moment of complete independence in Peru …”. In truth, we can accept that with this victory of the independentistas before the realist tops, the Spanish Crown ended the colonial occupation and the war in Peru. However, Spain did not recognize the independence of this country until August 14, 1879, when in Paris (France) signed with Peru the Treaty of Peace and Friendship Spain-Peru. So, why not take the date of August 14, 1879 as the true emancipation, historical and astrological of this Andean country? At the end of the day, although the Spanish troops left the Peruvian territory at the end of 1824, they did not stop demanding, by active or passive, this old Spanish colony. And why not take as the beginning of the voyage of this ship, which is modern Peru, the date on which the Act of Independence was signed, signed on July 15, 1821? In this way, we have four possible dates from which it is possible to raise a horoscope that represents this beautiful Andean country. Although in reality only one of them is valid, astrologically speaking, as a national letter.

Well, my opinion, that I am going to reason, illustrate and prop up immediately with some considerations and ideas, is that the true horoscope of Peru must be erected for the precise moment in which national independence was proclaimed: exactly on July 28, 1821. Yes, I clearly agree with the local astrologer: this is the date on which we must erect the national horoscope. Later we will see what time it is necessary to calculate it and what I use to decide for a specific hour. Moreover, we will see a rectification of the time based on different technical procedures, typical of our discipline, but in any case, do not lead us to greatly modify the time of the national horoscope.
My proposal and personal commitment is supported, beyond the conviction itself, the experience or performance, so to speak, which gives the horoscope raised for this date, in a more objective fact: a historical-astrological antecedent, a parallelism conclusive, that invites us to accept this thesis: the horoscope of the United States of America and the historical circumstances that surrounded the independence of the powerful neighbor of the north.
Behold: no astrologer discusses in the United States or anywhere in the world that the horoscope of the United States must be calculated for July 4, 1776. There are discrepancies about the time when it must be calculated, as some astrologers defend an Ascendant Gemini and others an Ascendant in the sign of Sagittarius, but practically nobody discusses the day. Moreover, over more than two hundred years of events, since that distant and July 4, said American horoscope has been totally effective and valid, beyond theories and assumptions. And going back to that date, On July 4, 1776, we must remember that after the Declaration of Independence, signed on that date in Congress, the fight against the English troops continued. In fact, beyond the time of that mythical date of July 1776, the English Crown did not yet accept, in any way, the initiative of a group of notables of the new continent. Even a few weeks later, on August 22 of that same year, the British defeated Washington’s army at the Battle of Long Island. And so the warfare continued. Still in October of 1777, date of the battle fought in Saratoga (New York), they fought against each other to defend their land. It was not until September 3, 1783, when the Treaty of Paris was signed, that England recognized the independence of the United States of America. Curiously, it was in Paris (France), the place where independence was recognized; in the same place where almost a century later, Spain would recognize Peru as an independent nation. As we have seen, we have a clear example of astrological radicalism, if I may say so, in the horoscope of the United States; and its history, like that of Peru, shows the continuity of the war of independence after it was proclaimed. There may even be a subsequent occupation, an annexation or partial loss of territory, but its horoscope, as is well known in the North American case, remains valid. Once the astrological mechanism has been set in motion, when the popular will, spontaneously or planned, but mostly, decides to proclaim its independence by acclamation, symbolically staged by means of an act or a planned proclamation, as in the case of José de San Martín and Peru, when it shows an irrevocable will to be born as a country, separating itself from a colonial yoke, from a stifling protectorate or from an exploitative viceroyalty, there is no turning back. We have seen it in the United States of America, with its horoscope, effective and indisputable and it can be demonstrated with the horoscope of Peru, established for the day in which its independence was proclaimed.
Before focusing on the case that concerns us, the horoscope of Peru, it may be interesting to reinforce the central idea that defends the radicality or importance of the moment in which the independence of a country is declared with a transversal idea and argument. A non-astrological opinion, but learned and intelligent at the same time; It is the voice of the great scientific and cultural disseminator Isaac Asimov, who in his magnificent work Chronology of the World, an extensive interpretation of the history of humanity – no less rigorous – tells us: “On July 4, 1776, the Second Congress adopted and signed a Declaration of Independence, founding the United States of America. Although the Declaration was not effective until the end of the war, it is customary to consider that the United States constitutes an independent nation from that day … “. Asimov’s words support, from another perspective, the validity, at different levels, of the Proclamation of Independence as the true beginning of a country’s voyage.

In another order of things, the symbolic value of that date is not negligible either; thus, at the official and popular level, the whole of a nation, whether it is the United States or the Peruvian, feels like its own on July 4 and July 28, respectively. And in the case of Peru, it is not only a holiday, as is usually the universal norm in every country that boasts, but in this case, it is taken on July 28 as the day of the investiture of the new president of the nation ; this has been the case, saving some obscure historical parentheses of the last decades, in the last decades; at least, until the first term of F. Belaunde Terry, who took office on July 28, 1963.
But there is more: this time, on the astrological plane. In the case of Peru, if we give the hypothesis of July 28 as good, this translates into an ecliptic position for the Sun, due to its regularity, at 5 degrees of the sign of Leo, approximately. Accordingly, we should find a sufficient number of notable Peruvians, within the political, military, social, cultural or sports, with synastric ties between their respective horoscopes and this hypothetical national Sun, worth the expression. In other words: we should find aspects of 0 °, 60 ° and 120 ° between radical factors of relevant characters of Peruvian life, past and present, and the Sun at 5 ° Leo of the horoscope of the country. This should be especially noticeable for parents or national heroes of the nation, national heroes, presidents or prominent political figures. Well, and is it really like that? We can start with what is perhaps the greatest national hero of Peru, Admiral Miguel Grau (born 27-07-1834), who was born with his natal Sun in conjunction with the Sun of Peru (orb of 1 °), identifying himself to the maximum with the country, for that reason; and his natal Jupiter, a He applied a sextile to the national Sun, giving brilliance and honor to his country. We can continue with the father of the fatherland, José de San Martín (born on February 25, 1778), with natal Mars trine to the national Sun. And with Fernando Belaunde Terry (born 7-10-1912), constitutional president of two mandates, with natal Jupiter in trine to the national Sun, with Alan García (born 23-05-1949), president for two non-consecutive terms, with the natal Sun in sextile to the national Sun or with Alberto Fujimori (born 28-07-1938), president for ten consecutive years, with an ambivalent combination: his natal Sun in conjunction with the national Sun and natal Mars in conjunction with the national Sun , with Alejandro Toledo (28-03-1946), president during a mandate, with the natal Sun trine to the national Sun and, finally, with another example of someone outside the institutional sphere, despite his political escapades in the past: Mario Vargas Llosa (born on March 28, 1936), famous Peruvian writer and candidate for the presidency of the nation in 1990, with the natal Sun in trine to the national Sun.
We should also find an inharmonic synastry between the Sun and the horoscope of Peru in general, with respect to the radical factors of the chart of other countries with which it has been at war in the past. And really, it’s like this: in the case of Chile (12-02-1818), a country that has had wars with Peru in the past, the first thing that catches your attention is that you have the Sun in Aquarius, while Peru has the star king in the opposite sign, in Leo. But the most important thing, in my opinion, in relation to possible conflicts between these neighboring countries, is that the planet Uranus of Chile is located exactly on the sensitive axis III-IX of the letter of Peru, which is precisely related to relations with neighboring countries, at the same time that this planet applies an opposition to the planet Mars of Peru, a violent combination, no doubt. It is also interesting to assess the historical relationship between the capital, Lima (18-01-1535), the Sun in Aquarius and Peru itself, with the opposite Sun: at home, in Leo.

To reaffirm the validity of July 28, 1821, as the date on which modern Peru begins its historical voyage, I propose a curious exercise: review and analyze the emotional words of San Martin to proclaim the Independence and compare them with the horoscope of Peru, that obviously, is the faithful reflection of the position of the planets in the sky for that precise moment. Well, you will observe that by way of amazing triangulation, the words declared by San Martin reflect the sky of the moment and this, in turn, logically determines the horoscope of the moment, which from then on will become the horoscope of Peru itself. That is, everything is interrelated, astrally. Look, then, at the words of this hero of the fatherland:
“Peru from this moment is free and independent, by the general will of the people and for the justice of their cause, which God defends …”.

And now, observe these words:
1. “… by the general will …”. Will: Sun
2. “… of the peoples …” Town / s: Luna.
3. “… and for justice …” Justice: Libra.

In the national horoscope (see below), Sol y Luna, both domiciled and angular, in house X, are one of the most relevant configurations of the national map. In addition, both luminaries (Sun and Moon), are in conjunction and the phrase unites both sentences: “… by the general will (Sun) of the peoples (Luna)”. And Libra, is the sign that ascends (the Ascendant) in the East horizon of the place where Independence was proclaimed. Of course, the ascending sign is another capital configuration in every horoscope.
Note that the first part of this famous proclamation (“Peru from this moment is free and independent …”), can be detached from the second, which we have shredded and analyzed astrologically. The first sentence, is the true leitmotif of the act of independence itself, places us in a physical context and its imminent circumstance.
Thus, we have a coherent astrological picture consistent with the historical moment that was lived in the old Plaza de Armas of Lima, on a July morning almost two centuries ago.

Finally, I want to point out that there are more elements that point with confidence to the validity of this date as a national horoscope. Thus, it is notorious that there are sensitive areas, at the zodiacal level, for the horoscope erected for this date: around the 29 ° of Aries, where the Jupiter-Saturn conjunction is found, or on the 29 ° of Sagittarius, where the conjunction Uranus-Neptune. Also in the 29th of Cancer, where we find the Moon. All these points frequently receive planetary transits in events or events relevant to the country, positive or negative.
At this point, with this elementary historical and astrological investigation, we can confirm in what day, month, year and place Peru was born as such. But at what time did it happen? Astrologers know that, without the time of birth, no it is possible to trace a person’s horoscope; we only have the planetary positions of the day of birth. In these cases, we usually calculate the positions of the Sun, the Moon and the planets by 12 noon, in order to minimize errors in the zodiacal location of the different stars and, especially, the Moon, which is faster , you can change even sign. However, studying this solar equation, to name it in some way, does not make much sense; we can only extract very general information and, at a predictive level, the limitation will not be less. The Ascendant, the Midheaven, the cusps of houses can not be located; we will not count on the planetary positions in the houses or sectors and other configurations, such as the planetary aspects to the angles, they can not be valued. In the case of the horoscope of a country, without knowing the hour in which it was constituted or proclaimed, we will be in the same situation; we will only count on a very limited percentage of astrological information. Returning for a moment to the astrological section related to the horoscopes of countries, we must be aware that in the case of a proclamation of independence of a country, spontaneous or planned, it is the moment in which is formulated with character irrevocable the popular decision to become independent, to cut the umbilical cord with the mother country, to reach full sovereignty as a state, when de facto, independence begins. As of that moment, any previous government law or provision, referring to Spanish domination, in this case, is annulled or omitted in practice. Thus, the previous administration disappears, technically, and the new national governing body, of whatever kind, enters into action. And the proclamation of independence, in the case that concerns us, occurred at the precise moment when San Martín uttered his words.

According to this and in relation to Peru, now it is only possible to discover or verify, in his case, the exact moment in which said proclamation took place. But do we know at what time and minute San Martin pronounced his famous words? What does history say about it? Well, the cronistas of the time and the works that can be studied in relation to this page of the history, are not very explicit in this type of details that, often, touch the mere curiosity. It is not often to find the exact record of the signing of a treaty, of a constitution or constitution or of the proclamation of independence of a state. At least, in historical events of this kind that already have more than a century of history. Recall the case of the United States of America: there is no absolute certainty, and proof of this is the different hours proposed by the same American astrologers. However, in the case of Peru, we have the enormous fortune of being able to locate, with a certain approximation, the moment when San Martín uttered his words. Indeed, we have some reliable sources that point to a more than acceptable time limit for our astrological purposes. However, it is not a piece of information that has been publicized in excess; not even the book The book of world horoscopes, by N. Campion, knows this information. It is more, in fact, for history books, which are looking for big headlines and round dates, to specify an hour and a minute for such an event, it is a trivial matter. It is possible to suppose, then, that only a minority, related to the history by its profession or by hobby, knows the facts that to continuation I will detail. I know that part of the Peruvian astrological collective handles this same information and makes it work in the national horoscope; at least, with an acceptable approximation. However, the research astrologer is obliged to investigate on his own and not blindly accept information that is not clearly referenced. In any case, if we bear in mind that the day on which the national horoscope should be lifted is doubtful, as we have seen before, with different candidate dates, the question becomes more complicated.
Well, my point of departure to determine, historically, the time in which independence was proclaimed, begins with the consultation of documents of the time, original or by transcription, ancient and modern. Fortunately, from the place where I usually study and work, Barcelona (Spain), to the archives and Peruvian bibliographical sources, no longer mediate in the 21st century thousands and thousands of kilometers away, with an entire ocean and the Andean mountain range of . Today, for the astrological researcher, many works, minutes and all kinds of documents have been digitized and, with the magic of computer science and the Internet network, are at your disposal: on our desk, on the screen of our computer . In my particular case and in this particular investigation, this has made possible that this may be feasible or, at least, has saved me a lot of time. It is true that in Spain there are numerous bibliographical and documentary collections, with material that deals with the time and geographical area studied; especially, when the Spanish Crown was a direct witness and intervening party in the events to which I am referring in this study, regarding the independence of Peru. But neither in the fabulous National Library of Madrid can we find a simple copy of the original document of the independence of Peru, an original, authentic document, dated July 15, 1821. Today, it is digitized and the researcher, academic or not, can see it in color, with a high resolution, and even print it on paper. It is no longer necessary to go to the Library of the Municipality of Lima, which is where this document is physically located.

Returning to the guiding thread of this investigation, as regards the investigation of the precise hour in which the proclamation took place, it is necessary to establish a basic chronology of the political and social events prior to July 28, 1821:
First and as a consequence of the emancipatory wave that Latin America was experiencing in the first decades of the 19th century and of certain internal or local events, the people of Peru came to the conclusion that the time has come for cut ties with the motherland; It is time to become independent, to get rid of the colonial yoke and to decide for yourself at all levels. To this end, José de San Martín acts as the liberator, serving as a catalyst for the popular will. For this purpose, it formally addresses the City Council, in Lima, entrusting it with the task of convoking a genuine representation of the people of Peru, through the participation of a number of personalities from the political, social or ecclesiastical sphere and in order to decide and, in In this case, sign a document expressing the decision to become independent from Spain. And so it is: in session of the Open Town Hall, presided over by the Mayor of the City Council, the Archbishop representing the Church and the people, represented by a group of notables of the then virreinato, approve and sign the Act of Independence on the 15th July 1821. It is also provided that the official proclamation of Independence will be made on July 28, 1821. Following the plan of Independence, the architects of this liberation movement, with San Martín at the head, summon to the people, through a “side” and through personal invitations, to the acts of the Proclamation, which will take place on Saturday, July 28, 1821, in the main squares.

The invitations that circulated among institutions and individuals, said (literal transcription):
“The City Council of this capital announces to you that on Saturday the 28th of which rules, at ten o’clock in the morning, its Independence is proclaimed from Spanish domination, and other nations, and in the next thanks to the Most High for So inestimable benefit with a solemn Mass in the Holy Cathedral Church, so that it serves to accompany him in both acts, as a sign of his patriotism, and concluded the mass, attend the Chapter Hall to take the oath if he had not signed the minutes of the 15 of the stream “.

As can be seen, here we have an indication of the time when the proclamation of Independence will take place: 10 o’clock in the morning. Until now, we knew for sure the day, the month, the year and the place; At this time, we can add – albeit with caution – the scheduled time for this crucial public event. We are close to being able to specify the data that will allow us to raise the legitimate national horoscope of this country.
However, although on the side and invitation indicates the expected time of the start of the great event, we know that this time may be subject to delays. It does not seem likely that the moment would advance; only a delay in the proclamation of San Martin can be expected. Logically, the people are summoned at a certain time and it is not likely that the group of notables that acted as officiating, with the Liberator of Peru at the head, will advance at the time they proposed. Nor does the scheduled time, ten o’clock in the morning of a Saturday, invite us to be ahead of the main actors of the act; Maybe it would be different to call the event at five in the afternoon. In such events, a delay in the planned program is acceptable and even usual; not so an eventual advance, which would be inelegant, not to say ridiculous.

In my research to find the true horoscope of Peru, I must confess that there came a time when, without waiting any longer, I calculated the national map for 10 o’clock in the morning (local time), as a starting point. Rationally, he could accept that the proclamation of San Martin had taken place at that hour, with a difference of a few minutes. It was not the first time that the historical chronicles showed the time of birth of a nation without margin of error; In this regard, the case of the State of Israel, founded in 1948, is illustrative. But intuitively, it harbored the possibility of a delay in the scheduled time; first of all, because it is a public act, not a protocol signature of a few. However, it was by submitting the horoscope to the planetary transits for the few important historical events that, at that stage of my investigation, I had of this nation when I could verify that it was very probable that the angles and cusps of houses were located a few degrees higher. ahead; this we will see in the next section. Obviously, that meant having to delay the time of the proclamation, although not excessively. In that stage of my study, worth the pun, it was not yet appropriate to subject the national horoscope to a purely astrological rectification. I understand that, first and foremost, historical rigor must prevail and only when the arguments of history are exhausted, official or unofficial data, verifiable elements, vestiges and evidence, we can resort to astrological techniques to correct or rectify – in our slang – the time of birth, whether of a person or a nation. Thus, I proceeded to investigate to a greater degree everything related to that historic day: cchronicles, modern transcriptions and even contemporary interpretations and recreations of that moment; everything could serve to illuminate a path well drawn and straight yes, since it started from an official time, but not exempt from some shadows. The next step, beyond reading and digging between old chronicles, vague and imprecise, at the hour level is understood , consisted necessarily in consulting this historical doubt with some specialists in the matter. Of course, a historian handles a bibliography and sources that, because of their specialization, are not generally within the reach of a researcher from another field, an astrologer or, simply, a layman in the field. And of course, it was preferable, if not indispensable, to count on the opinion of local historians based in Peru, who were especially learned in the history of their country and, if possible, of the period in question. To that end, I contacted Mr. Arturo Gómez Alarcón, a graduate in Education from the UNMSM and professor of history, who could only confirm that, indeed, the event took place on Saturday 28 at mid-morning. I wrote, then, to D. Juan Luis Orrego Penagos, historian and professor at the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru, in Lima, besides being the author of a book and articles on this stage of the history of Peru. As an expert in the history of this country, especially from the period from Independence to the 20th century, I consulted him about the circumstances that surrounded that memorable day. But before transcribing part of my query and the response that he kindly gave me, I will write a historical review that Mr. Orrego writes or transcribes, based on other historical sources, on his blog, dedicated to the history of Peru. Given the extension of the same, I will extract what in my opinion is more relevant to the subject at hand:

“The act, in pure viceregal style, began at about 10 o’clock. in the morning, when San Martin left the Palace of the Viceroys forming part of an impressive cavalcade (…) Following with the procession, he arrived at a huge platform that had been erected in the Plaza de Armas, in the direction of the Cabildo (to the portal of Notaries). The authorities occupied their places in it and the Marquis of Montemira handed the flag to its creator. San Martin received it and, tremolándola before the crowd, pronounced his famous prayer: Peru, is from this moment free and independent … “.
Note that if the chronicler tells us that San Martin leaves the Palace of the Viceroys at 10 o’clock in the morning, the act of proclamation itself had to happen necessarily later. We can imagine the route until we arrive at the tabladillo of the Plaza de Armas, but we do not know if it stopped or was diverted to visit another place before. In addition, taking into account that a crowd of thousands and thousands of people, summoned for 10 am, was crowded in the streets, this possibly forced to stop or slow down the march of the liberating entourage; so much for being crowded the square or public road, making difficult the passage, as for possible samples of affection, that I suppose were corresponded by the delegation. This is certainly an assumption of mine, but even if it were not like that, the fact of starting the march at the same time of the convocation, added to a route that we do not know until it reaches the floor arranged in the Plaza de Armas, plus the ritual to dismount, to greet other personalities that were waiting for him and to settle in their place, before raising the flag and uttering the immortal words, they could have spent quite a few minutes. And therein lies the question: how many minutes could pass.
In relation to the exact time in which this historical event could have taken place, in my letter dated January 19, 2009, addressed to Mr. Juan Luis Orrego, I asked him precisely that, if taking into account that San Martín left the Palace at 10 o’clock, for all that I have pointed out above, we should understand that the proclamation extended beyond the expected time, possibly at 10:30 or even at 11 o’clock. Mr. Orrego, answered me in these terms (literal extract):
“Indeed, it is difficult to know exactly when the proclamation of San Martin took place in the Plaza de Armas of Lima. Taking into account the sources, which save details in that aspect, it is most likely that the small speech occurred between 10:30 and 11 am on that Saturday, July 28 … “.

For my research, this approach, which brought me closer to an hour for the proclamation closer to 11 o’clock than at 10 o’clock in the morning, meant starting to make sense of the first astrological tests. The Transits, a predictive and basic rectification technique in our discipline, already pointed out before having knowledge of this, at a time that began right now to be more than possible.

From a historical point of view, that glorious July 28 culminated with a series of ceremonial acts, in addition to the popular celebration. In any case, the fact of endorsing in other public places the act of independence itself or the solemn mass of the following day or the same oath of allegiance to the nation, by some members of Lima’s upper class, are not astrologically important : the astrological mechanism had already started; Peru had already been born as a country. As a recapitulation, to finish this section, we can point out that we now know that Peru was born, astrologically, on July 28, 1821, between 10:30 and 11:00 in the morning ( local time) in Lima. The rectification of the national horoscopeThe next step in this astrological investigation, leaving behind historical documents, acts, chronicles of the time and other elements more typical of a historian than an astrologer, will be to rectify the horoscope. Now the astrological tools must be applied coldly and rationally, in order to validate the national horoscope of Peru. This implies, in turn, adjusting, correcting the time of birth, in a complex process, typical of a more elaborate or sophisticated astrology. It is the rectification of the horoscope, a technical procedure that allows, through one or more techniques, to find out the time, the minute and even the second time a person or a country was born. This result in time, is obtained indirectly, by applying certain predictive techniques, such as transits, in the study of important events in the history of the person or, as in this case, of Peru. Thus, when operating with angles and cusps of houses, in their measurement in degrees, minutes and seconds of arc, when adjusting those to the studied events, we can convert the arc measurements in time. In this way, advancing or delaying the positions of the angles and cusps of houses, supposes in turn to advance or delay the time of birth, which, in this case, would be the proclamation of independence.

The rectification of the horoscope is absolutely essential if we want to practice a rigorous and effective astrology; both at the level of interpretation and prediction. If we do not operate with the true natal time, we will be interpreting a horoscope with some domes configurations or some aspects of the angles and cusps of houses that may not exist; and we will stop seeing other configurations or aspects that really exist. With an incorrect natal hour, the astrological predictions may be wrong in months or years, as we give correct angles and cusps of houses that may be wrong in their zodiacal location. Thus, a successful prediction is the product of starting from a true natal hour; the astrological gear works perfectly and important events have their corresponding reflection in the past, present and future time.
In a first stage, I will use the Transits to validate and rectify the Peruvian horoscope. This procedure, using the planetary transits for this, I have exposed in my work The Astrological Interpretation. For this, we need a list of important events in the history of the country, from its founding in 1821 to the present day. In the case of a country, they serve events such as victories and defeats in battles, wars and conflicts with third countries, deaths of presidents or national heroes, coups, earthquakes, national catastrophes, serious aviation accidents, constitutional changes and, in general, all important events, notorious at the historical level. In general, to correct a horoscope, 15 to 20 important events can suffice, depending on the length of time to adjust the natal time.

In this particular case and in relation to the time, we start from a double-blind certainty: the one that history gives us, as we have seen, by historians and chroniclers of the time and, secondarily, by the traditional assignment of a particular hour that the Peruvian astrologer considers valid, even if it is approximate. In the first case, history tells us that the Independence of Peru was proclaimed between 10 and 11 in the morning (local time), approximately. And in the second case, the majority of Peruvian and South American astrologers use a native hour for this country that oscillates between 10 and 12 o’clock, being perhaps more used a chart calculated for 11 o’clock, approximately, also in the morning (16 : 00 GMT). In this way, we already have a point of departure, which will help us to begin to address this important chapter that is rectification, that is, in astrological jargon.

Initially, I began by studying the planetary transits of the slower planets on some of the most important dates in the history of Peru, beginning in 1821. I submitted to a provisional horoscope, calculated for 15:30 AM (GMT), to the test of planetary transits, for some events important Obviously, I took this hour (already moved to GMT) because it is the figure equidistant from the theoretical range that historians suggest as a possible time of proclamation. And it goes without saying that, for most relevant events, we should find adequate and sufficient reflection in the form of planetary transits, in relation to the planetary symbolism and the angular aspects formed with factors of the radix. For example, in the face of a negative event at the national level, for the image of the country at the international level or even at the domestic level, we can expect a transit of Saturn in conjunction with the radical Mediocielo, but we will hardly find Jupiter in transit on this same point of the national letter.
Reviewing some important events of the decades following national independence, I observed that by the time José de San Martín (17-08-1850) died, Saturn was 20 ° 49 ‘from Aries. And knowing that taking the hypothetical natal time of 15:30 (GMT) had an Ascendant-Descending axis to 13 ° of Libra-Aries, I immediately considered a possible connection between Saturn’s position by transit with this point of the national chart . That is to say, an aspect by transit of Saturn in conjunction with the radical Descendant (or opposition to the Ascendant). On a symbolic level, it is a very appropriate transit for the death of this hero of the homeland: grief, pain, sadness and other meanings typical of this planetary step affecting the AS-DS axis of a horoscope. However, since the orb for transit was excessive (7 °), it could be assumed that the true position of the natal AS-DS axis was a few degrees ahead. Thus, if we provisionally set the Ascendant to 20 ° 49 ‘of Libra, allowing the aspect by transit with orb “0” (exact), this supposed that the time when the country was born was closer to 11 hours than to 10 hours (local time). Specifically, he suggested 15:54 (GMT) as a possible natal hour. Without a doubt, it was a tempting combination. All in all, it was only a first approximation to the horoscope under study, rather than a formal application of the rectification technique itself.
From here, the time of departure (15:54 GMT) was the one that offered us an Ascendant about 20 ° of Libra, approximately. I now had to submit to this hour and provisional horoscope, a long series of events, with their corresponding planetary transits, in order to determine if this first correction, made with only a first important event, also offered a satisfactory result in the rest of the world. events

And by studying the planetary transits for other important events, they clearly showed that the AS-DS axis at 20 ° of Libra-Aries was the true axis of the Peruvian horoscope.
First I focused on mournful, shocking events for the Peruvian state; concretely, the death of presidents of the nation. Here are some examples:
– President Agustín Gamarra (18-11-1841): Pluto (t) 180 ° AS (n).
– President Domingo Nieto (17-02-1844): Pluto (t) 180 ° AS (n).
– President Remigio Morales (1-04-1894): Saturn (t) 0 ° AS (n).
– President L. M. Sánchez Cerro (30-04-1933): Pluto (t) 90 ° AS (n).
(t): Transiting planet.
(n): Radical factor.
Certainly, it is surprising to find for the same type of event – the death of the president of the nation – inharmonic transits (0 °, 90 °, 180 °) of malefic planets (Saturn, Pluto) to the ascending degree, theoretically located at 20 ° of Libra. In addition, the maximum admitted orb does not exceed 1 ° 30 ‘of arc. This clearly points to the fact that we are facing the true natal hour.
But this is not all. For the experienced astrologer or one who intends to practice a serious and rigorous astrology, a few cases should not be enough; it is necessary to continue studying more events.
With this hour and provisional Ascendant, at 20 ° of Libra, we also have a location of the MC-IC axis at 16 ° of Cancer-Capricorn. Thus, in the face of other important events, this important axis will also be sensitive to the planetary transits of the moment. In this regard, we can show another important event for Peru, a turbulent stage in the history of this country, where on the same day two presidents were killed:
-The same day, the Presidents José Balta and Tomás Gutiérrez (26-07-1872) are assassinated: Saturn (t) 0 ° IC (n).
As we can see, in this case Saturn by transit makes a conjunction to the radical IC, with a closed orb, for the horoscope calculated for 15:54 (GMT).
Well, until now we have seen that for the same type of event, the planetary transits pointed to a degree of the zodiac where hypothetically the angles of the national chart were located (axes AS-DS and MC-IC). But we can trace other outstanding historical events and we will see how, also, in a different way, according to the type of event, they affect the projection angles the letter of Peru, which is equivalent to the proposed hour. Victory in the Battle of Ayacucho (9-12-1824): Uranus (t) 0 ° IC (n) .- Admiral Grau (8-10- 1879): North Node (t) 90 ° AS (n). – Coup d’Etat (3-10-1968): Saturn (t) 180 ° AS (n). – Return to democracy (28-07-1980) : Pluto (t) 0 ° AS (n) .- Severe floods, with 600 dead (23-01-1982): Saturn (t) 0 ° AS (n).

-Autogolpe by Alberto Fujimori (5-04-1992): Uranus (t) 0 ° IC (n).
All these transits, with an orb limited to + – 2 ° of arc.
But this is not all. Also the cusps of intermediate houses (II, III, V, VI, VIII, IX, XI and XII) should be receptive, sensitive to planetary transits if, as seems evident, we are facing the true natal time. However, for this it will be necessary to dominate the horoscope of Peru with the Topocentric System, which is, in my opinion -based on an uninterrupted experience of 20 years as a professional astrologer-, the true system of houses. In other words: if we use a domination by Campanus, Koch, Regiomontanus or others, we will not be able to detect the transits that resemble the cusps of intermediate houses, because they will be shown out of orb. Not so with the angles, since they are located in the same zodiacal position in all house systems. The consideration about the true system of houses, which I introduce in this paper in a transversal way to the main issue, will be discussed in the following section. For the moment, I show you some examples of planetary transits aspectando the intermediate cusps for the (provisional) horoscope of Peru, to reinforce what is already beginning to be evident at this point of the present study: that San Martin proclaimed the independence of Peru around 15:54 GMT.
Examples of events with planetary transits involving the cusps of intermediate houses (with a maximum orb of 2 °):
-Fin Confederation Peru-Bolivia (08-25-1839): Uranus (t) 180 ° C. XII (n).
– President M. de San Román (3-04-1863): Mars (t) 90 ° C. XII (n).

-Spain invades the Chincha Islands (14-04-1864): Uranus (t) 0 ° C. IX (n).
-Accident incident in Cuzco, with 101 deceased (9-08-1970): Saturn (t) 0 ° C. VIII (n).
-Liberation of the hostages of the Embassy of Japan, with numerous deaths (22-04-1997): Mars (t) 0 ° C. XII (n).
-Explosion and fire in a fireworks trade, with 291 deaths (29-12-2001): Mars (t) 180 ° C. XII (n), Pluto (t) 90 ° C. XII (n), Uranus ( t) 90 ° C. VIII (n).
-Accident of aviation in Pucallpa, with 41 deceased (23-08-2005): Pluto (t) 0 ° C. III (n).
– Terrorist attack to a military convoy, with 19 dead (10-10-2008): Saturn (t) 0 ° C. XII (n).
With this series of relevant events, of different types, not only it becomes clear that the proposed natal time (15:54 GMT) is the correct one – still needing a slight correction -, but the topocentric domination is the real one.
Note how appropriate the planetary transits are for the different events, according to the planetary symbolism combined with the meaning of the corresponding natal houses. Thus, we find the natal House aspectada when facts related to foreign countries occur. To the natal House III when it comes to issues related to travel and travel. Or to the natal House VIII when many people die at the same time, in the same event and in a violent way, for different reasons. And to the natal House XII for violent, tragic events or for simple failures. Notice that we found the natal House XII involved when certain negative facts happen to Peru; here, in 5 events, we see up to 6 inharmonic transits of malefic planets aspectando this house (topocentric cusp).
And now, allow me a digression: in the face of the obvious, finding ourselves face to face with the true horoscope of Peru and with how sensitive House XII looks and the rest of the angles and houses of your national chart to inharmonic planetary transits, I wonder if this country could not benefit from competent astrological advice. Through this advice, the governing body could be warned, at the national or local level, of the sensitive periods, which could lead to a negative event or event, so that in their respective decisions prudence would prevail and prevention would be practiced. It is an idea that can be extrapolated to every country and national letter, of course. Today, it seems unthinkable, closer to astrology-fiction than to reality, but it may not be long before it becomes a reality.
Returning to the storyline and returning to the rectification of the horoscope of Peru, we can confirm that, according to the study of the annotated historical events and their corresponding planetary transits, eloquent, Peru was born on July 28, 1821 at 15 : 54 (GMT). Translated to the local time, we can say that the proclamation of Independence took place around 10 am and 46 minutes in the morning of that Saturday of the month of July. However, like any rectification with Transits, we can only obtain an approximate natal hour, with a margin or tolerance that It can reach several degrees of arc. In time, a rectification with this predictive tool can reach a precision of + – 10 minutes. Returning to the theme of Peru, this correction of the national horoscope can be enough, in principle, to interpret the natal theme and to predict with the same Transits or with the Solar Revolution, but it does not allow us to operate with the powerful topocentric Primary Directions, which are a fundamental piece in the predictive architecture relative to the horoscopes of nations. To be able to count on the competition of this type of address, as well as of the Secondary Directions, of the PSSR, the SRA or of certain Cyclic Letters, it is essential to obtain a rectification of the natal time “to the second”.
To achieve a precise, refined rectification, “to the second”, the topocentric Primary Directions are an ideal technique for this. You can go into this technique and the rectification of hours of birth through my work Advanced Techniques in Predictive Astrology. In theory, we could perform the corresponding calculations by hand, but today, computers and special software are irreplaceable, saving time and possible errors. In my particular case, I began to rectify horoscopes with the help of computers in the distant year of 1988. I acquired the great German astrologer Alexander Marr (1919-2000) a simple program in MS2, created by him, called Special 1. I received it by mail, I bought a used Commodore 64 computer, which I connected to a small television and operated with it, not without a thousand and one problems, which I tried to solve by talking on the phone with Marr, who with his characteristic deep voice, patiently, helped me Get the most out of your program. it has been many years since then. Today, we have powerful computers and software specialized in the semi-automatic rectification of the hours of birth: Polaris. This program, created by my friend Isaac Starkman, Israeli astrologer and the most outstanding disciple of Alexander Marr, allows to obtain the true natal time with this rectification almost automated, where the astrologer should only discern which of the hours that the program proposes as authentic is The correct one. The program rectifies with Primary Directions, from a list of events of the person to be supplied. Then, a list with the possible home hours appears on the screen, with an accuracy – which can then be adjusted even more manually – of 8 seconds of time. The list of the different possible hours is shown in order of probability, according to the same program. Afterwards, a series of tests must be carried out, testing with other accessory techniques the first hours of the list, in order to find out the true time.
Polaris is the most advanced software in the market for horoscopes rectification. Its operation, is based on an extensive table of assessment of aspects that has inserted, where each direction (primary) has a specific score, depending on the event. For example, for a positive event, such as success in an election, 25 points are awarded to the MC 0 ° Jupiter aspect and no points to the MC 0 ° Saturn aspect. For an event such as the death of the father, 25 points are awarded to MC 0 Saturn and a total of 20 points to MC 90 ° Saturn. For every event that we introduce, a key corresponds to it. In the case of the birth of a brother, the key is 1. For marriage, the key is 7, and so on up to a total of 50 types of events, cataloged and scored. For key 7, the highest scores are for the following directions: DS, MC, and House V in aspect with Venus, Moon, North Node, and Jupiter. The keys are also differentiated according to whether they are male or female. The minimum number of events to be included is in direct proportion to the search time span. For example, for a search of the home time of 2 hours, 14 or 16 important events are sufficient. The program, depending on the number and type of event we introduce for a specific person, calculates the score reached by all possible hours, according to the theoretical birth time that the astrologer decides (from 1 second to 24 hours) and tracks, with intervals of eight seconds, all the directions that are formed, establishing a list of possible natal hours by rigorous order of probability, according to the points reached.
Generally, depending on the events that we supply to the computer and the search time, the real time of birth appears among the first positions; frequently in the first place. The program uses the topocentric Primary Directions, with a maximum orb of about 11 ‘of arc for conjunctions and oppositions and of around 6′ for the rest of aspects. The time it takes to offer the results varies from the number of events entered, the search time and the power of the computer. Once we have obtained the list that Polaris offers us, it will be enough to check which of them is the correct one, as I have already pointed out before. For this, the same Primary, Secondary, PSSR, Transits, SRA or Cyclic Letters will be necessary. Obviously, the appearance in the market of this revolutionary software has meant a real transcendental change in the procedure and, of course, in the results of this astrological practice, fundamental in our discipline. Actually, Polaris is not intended to rectify the horoscopes of countries, but without a doubt, allows to operate with it to obtain the true hour of a country. Proof of this is the successful rectification of the horoscope of Canada, recently made by the same creator of the program, Isaac Starkman. Next, I will show the result I obtained by submitting the horoscope of Peru to a rectification of the natal time with this novel program Although I obtained an extensive list with more than 50 important events in the history of Peru -which can be seen at the end of this work, in the corresponding annex-, I only used 40 events for the rectification, since it is not necessary to use them at all; the rest of the events, however, serves to verify astrologically all the dates, with all the techniques noted above. The search time limited it to 1 hour, since it seems evident that the proclamation of Independence took place, approximately, between 10 am and 11 am (local time); it was not necessary to extend it for a longer period of time. Thus, the search with this rectification program was made from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm (GMT) on July 28, 1821, for the geographic coordinates of Lima (Peru). In order to obtain the greatest possible accuracy in the results, I provided the program with the exact coordinates of the Plaza de Armas in Lima, today Plaza Mayor, which I was able to obtain with the help of the Google Earth program, which locates geographic locations via satellite, with a maximum precision. The coordinates for the old Plaza de Armas, where the great event took place, are: 12 ° 02 ’45’ ‘South and 77 ° 01’ 49 ” West.
After the calculation, the program gave me the following result:

As can be seen, there are different hours proposed, ordered by the score that they reach in the search. I have only recorded the first five hours, with the order that Polaris shows. The column “T” refers to the total score reached by each of the different hours. Note that the program orders the different hours in order of highest to lowest score. Column “A” refers to the number of aspects (directions) angle-planet, with a minimum of 8 points. Column “B” counts the number of angle-planet and planet-angle aspects, with a minimum of 8 points as well. The “C”, counts the total number of aspects, including aspects cusp-planet and planet-cusp, with a minimum of 8 points. The “D”, like the previous one, but with a minimum of 20 points. Finally, the “E” counts the same, but with a minimum of 2 points.
The program calculated all the addresses for the events entered and for all possible hours for the time period of 1 hour. With an interval between the hours sought of only 8 seconds, the number of possible hours for the 60 minutes we search is exactly 450. And among all these possible hours, Polaris was able to select in first position an hour very close to the that we obtained with the previous rectification, with Transits. It’s a surprising result, as long as this hour turns out to be the authentic birth time. In “bold”, highlighted, is the time that, of course, we must check first, to see if it really is the true birth hour of the Peruvian horoscope.
I can save you the intermediate process in which I proceeded to examine each of the hours on the list that the program offered. And not only the five above, which were the first, but a few more hours that were in a lagged position; This, in order to exhaust all possibilities, leaving no room for a possible error or omission, because what is at issue is to approach the maximum to perfection, to proceed with method and rigor. From all of them I examined their Directions (primary and secondary), PSSR, Transits, Cyclic Letters and SRA, for more than 50 events. And the result was incontestable: the real time of birth was 15:55:04 (GMT). Polaris had been able to find, almost automatically, the time of birth. It is true that we do not always find ourselves in the first position of the list at the time that later turns out to be the true one; and it is no less true that the astrologer must know how to discern, with his criteria and experience in the rectification section, which of the hours is the true one. But the creation, the existence of such a software, can not fail to amaze us and we can consider it a milestone in the history of modern astrology.
At the end of January 2009, I wrote to my friend and colleague Isaac Starkman about the correction of the horoscope of Peru that I had just completed. Not only did I offer my results, with the final time rectified, but I also gave him the data related to Peru, with the date of the proclamation of Independence, the exact coordinates in which it took place and a list of more than 50 important events for this country. A few days later, on January 30, I received an e-mail from him confirming, without any doubt (sic), that the time indicated above, rectified by me, was the true birth hour of Peru. I understand that this is important to reinforce, to shore up this rectification; not in vain is one of the world’s leading specialists in rectifying hours of birth, while the first disciple of Alexander Marr and the creator of the same Polaris rectifier software. I also know that his review and study was exhaustive and that his pronouncement is never free.
Returning to the present rectification, I want to note that the final hour, rectified “to the second”, is 15:55:04 (GMT), as we have seen, and that the time that I previously adjusted, so to speak, with the help of Transits, it was a very close time: 15:54 (GMT). Barely a minute apart. Undoubtedly, the correction made with the help of planetary transits was correct. And tAll the examples of the transits, not only are valid, but possibly show a smaller orb with the final rectification. However, as I pointed out earlier, to interpret and predict with a high degree of reliability, we needed a precisely rectified time. According to this, now we are in a position to be able to assert this hour as the authentic time for the birth of Peru as such, as a modern state. We can test it, as we will do next, with past events, seeing how different predictive techniques justify all the events in its history. And what is more important, from now on, Peruvian astrologers or from anywhere in the world, using this rectified hour, with the hour, minute and second achieved, will be able to check it for every stage and future event that occurs from now with respect to Peru. The judgment of time is unappealable and always has the last word.
Next, and for the rectified time, I will show some examples of past events, applying some of the most advanced predictive techniques:
1. Chile declares war on Peru (5 April 1879):
Primary Direction: Ascending 180 ° Mars (d). Orb: 6 ‘of
arc.
2. Admiral Grau dies (8-10-1879):
Secondary Address: Luna 0 ° House XII (p). Orb: 9 ‘of arc.
3. War conflict with Ecuador (26-01-1995):
PSSR: Luna 90 ° Mediocielo (re-pren). Orb: 6 ‘of arc.
4. Victory at the Battle of Ayacucho (9-12-1824):
Lunar Cyclic Chart (RLSD): Jupiter 0 ° Midheaven. Orb: 2nd of
arc.
Lunar Cyclic Chart (RLSC): Jupiter 0 ° Midheaven. Orb: 2nd of
arc.
5. José de San Martín dies (17-08-1850):
SRA: Saturn (s) 180 ° Ascending (r). (SRTD). Orb: 6 ‘of
arc.
(d): direct.
(p): Progressed.
(re-pren): returned / prenatal.
(RLSD): Direct Sidereal Lunar Revolution.
(RLSC): Sidereal Lunar Revolution talks.
(s): solar.
(r): radical.

(SRTD): Direct Tropic Solar Revolution
I have only shown one event for each technique, to avoid boring the astrologer who is the recipient of this paper. However, I suggest that with this time rectified and using the more than 50 important events in the history of this country, listed at the end of this study, analyze each of these events, using these techniques and others, like the same Solar Revolution , to ascertain the validity of this rectification.
Note that I do not show any examples for the Transits, since we have already seen a good number of them, very indicative and with a limited orb. However, it is perhaps interesting to remember that the passage of Pluto by transit crossing the Ascendant of the national charter, back in 1980, coincided with the return to democracy, after twelve years of military dictatorship. It is exactly the same aspect that we find in the horoscope of Argentina for the year 1983, when democratic elections were held in that country, after the dictatorial period. But in the case of Peru, the transit of Pluto crossing the ascending degree brought with it another added element: the irruption of the armed revolutionary movement Sendero Luminoso, which was making an appearance for the first time on 05-17-1980. Both events are perfectly adapted to what happened: in the first case, the political effect of reform, regeneration and change of the transit of Pluto is undeniable, while in the case of the irruption in the national panorama of the group of Maoist tendency, we can to say that the hidden activities of subversive groups, which attempt to abruptly transform a particular sociopolitical model, are also ascribed to the symbolic value of Pluto.
In short: as can be seen, the different prediction techniques (Directions, PSSR, Transits, Cyclic Cards or SRA), perfectly reflect each stage or event lived in the history of Peru, demonstrating the validity of the rectification practiced to this national horoscope.
To astrologers who are interested in studying these advanced predictive techniques, valid to be applied to native or national horoscopes, I refer you to the works on the subject I have published, as well as to others by other authors, which appear in the bibliography of several of my books.
It is also possible to obtain the ASTRO computer program (in MS2) free of charge, which allows you to operate with most of the techniques exposed here and with other techniques that are no less useful, such as prenatal transits. This program was created by Alexander Marr and is freely distributed on the Internet.
The Topocentric System: the true domination
As I have pointed out previously, the true domination, the only valid housing system, is the Topocentric System. We have seen it before in the examples, where for different events, the planetary transits, directions and other predictive systems, intervene decisively to the cusps of intermediate houses; and these, of course, are located in a degree, minute and second of determined arc, located in the zodiacal band by the topocentric formulas. If we use a domination by other systems of houses, we will not find these aspects in the houses II, III, V, VI, VIII, IX, XI and XII. The sophisticated software Polaris, without the cusps of intermediate houses calculated from the formulas topocentric, can not work: you need, for your computations, the aspects generated by the intermediate houses calculated from this system. The Topocentric System was created in the sixties by the astrologers Vendel Polich and AP Nelson Page, being presented for the first time in the adoptive country of its authors, Argentina, but then spread rapidly through other South American countries, especially Peru, Venezuela and Colombia. In 1976, the book The Topocentric System, by Vendel Polich, was published, containing the exhibition of this new system of houses. Unlike all the systems of domination invented previously, created from debatable theories or astronomical-mathematical suppositions, the system discovered (not invented) by Polich and Nelson Page, was obtained by effective verifications of events through Primary Directions, being starting from Naibod’s key, a graphic curve that statistically placed exactly the cusps of houses.
This system of domination advocates not considering as primary reference the earth center (and its axis), as a point around which the universe revolves, but simply considering the point of the earth’s surface (“topo”, from the Greek topos: place ) where the individual is at birth. Polich and Nelson Page discovered or adopted the idea that the universe, for a determined point of the Earth, does not revolve around the terrestrial axis (by virtue of the rotation movement), but around an axis (parallel to the terrestrial axis) that passes through the point of the Earth where the individual is located at the moment of birth. The houses are generated by the natural rotation of the horizon around the “topocentric axis”, producing a cone of rotation. As the cone rotates at a uniform speed, the division of space is the same as the division of time.
It is not necessary to go deeper into this type of astronomical-mathematical considerations. The astrologer can study the bases on which this system is based, from the works or articles of their authors; and first of all, to experiment for itself, submitting to the cusps of intermediate houses of all existing systems of domination, planetary transits and other techniques, in order to judge with what domination we observe a smaller orb. For this purpose, only horoscopes with a precisely recorded time of birth or rectified should be used. In relation to Transits, for example, only those that are clearly related to a specific event should be studied, depending on the planetary symbolism of the transiting star and the meaning of the house that receives the aspect, together with the type of angle that is I watched.
We have previously seen several examples with directions and transits, where on the cusps of intermediate (topocentric) houses a very small orb was observed. Now we will compare some of the most known systems of houses with Topocentric, in order to assess their behavior in practice. But I will not use the horoscope of Peru, since this is a rectification of its own, it would not be elegant or logical to take as reference a few cusps of houses that other astrologers can discuss. I will employ for this purpose the horoscope of Prince Charles of England, for obvious reasons, referring to the veracity and accuracy of his birth data. As usual in British royalty, his birth was accurately recorded; to such a point, that a later rectification achieved by Alexander Marr could only correct in a few seconds the natal time provided by Buckingham Palace, which hardly changes the positions of the houses. Another reason to use this example is that for geographic latitudes far from the equator, we observe greater differences in the positions of the intermediate cusps and the result is clearer.
We will use the Transits as a technique to study this comparison, given that they are not only the cornerstone of predictive astrology, but because of its simplicity and way of use, there can be no doubts, complications or variants, as it can happen with different systems directional
The event that I have selected for the case of Prince Carlos, is the beginning of his school activity in a school. This is an important event in your life, beyond the student activity itself. It was the first time he had interacted with other children his age at this level, coming out of the Palace bubble. The transit that justifies the event, can mean both the beginning of the school activity proper as the displacement or trip outside of Buckingham Palace, because in both cases it is sector III that encompasses such events or events (studies and trips: House III). Prince Charles. Born on 11-14-1948, at 9:14 p.m. (GMT), in London (England). Event: school activity begins in a school (28-01-1957). Relevant transit: Mercury (transit) 120th House III (natal). Mercury a 13 ° 43 ‘of Virgo, at 9:00 AM (GMT) on January 28, 1957, for London (England). Topocentric House III: 13 ° 39’ Virgo. Orb transit: 4 ‘of arc.Casa III Campanus: 23 ° 04’ Virgo. Orb transit: 9 ° 21 ‘of arc.Casa III Koch: 20 ° 36’ Virgo. Orb transit: 6 ° 53 ‘of arc.Casa III Regiomontanus: 14 ° 48’ Virgo. Orb transit: 1 ° 05 ‘of arc.Casa III Plácidus: 13 ° 40’ Virgo. Orb transit: 3 ‘of arc. As we see in this comparison for the targeted traffic, the topocentric doming observes a much smaller orb than in the systems of houses of Campanus, Koch or Regiomontanus. It is true and known by many astrologers that Plácidus offers a very small difference in the positions of the intermediate houses with respect to the topocentric positions. However, although a difference of a few minutes of arc in a technique such as transits does not matter, given its operating orb of more than 1 degree of arc, it is not the same with other techniques that demand a much smaller orb. Thus, when operating with the primary or secondary directional system and in techniques such as PSSR or SRA, these small differences can be decisive, leaving the aspects referenced to Plácidus positions out of the orb. In this regard, I will show several examples with the Primary Directions, where it is evident without comparative necessity that if we use other systems of domination, the obtained aspects simply disappear. Obviously, the operational orbs of the addresses that we will see below are extremely small.
I will show again the case of Prince Charles, but this time based on the rectification (21:13:37 GMT) obtained several decades ago by Alexander Marr and that with the passage of time, has turned out to be absolutely correct.
Primary Directions:
1. Attack of appendicitis and appendectomy (11-02-1962).
House XII 180 ° Mars (c). Orb: 1 ‘of arc.
2. Birth of brother (10-03-1964).
House III 60th Uranus (c). Orb: 0 ‘of arc.
House III 120 ° Jupiter (c). Orb: 3 ‘of arc.
3. Transoceanic voyage (23-07-1976).
Neptune 120 ° House IX (d). Orb: 5 ‘of arc.
The first factor of the direction is the directed and the second, the radical.
(d): direct address.
(c): address convers.
Needless to say, these topocentric directions are clearly related to the annotated events. The orb in minutes of arc, very small, is certainly surprising. Accordingly, it is not necessary to insist that only by using the system of Topocentric houses can we operate with highly accurate tools such as the Primary Directions, among others already mentioned. And of course, it is worth noting that the real domination is by this same system, created by Vendel Polich and A. P. Nelson Page fifty years ago.
The horoscope of Peru
In this section it is necessary to interpret the horoscope of Peru, but I will not extend too much. I understand that it is not necessary to comment on the usual, before an audience mainly Peruvian. It would be a boldness to try to describe here, even from the national horoscope, the characteristics of the Peruvian people and the historical events that have taken place to date. It is preferable to let the local astrologer, from this rectified national theme, be able to extract with greater knowledge of the cause, with a better perspective, all the information that is inscribed in this horoscope. On the other hand, to ignore this section would leave the present work incomplete. Accordingly, I will limit myself to comment succinctly some of the characteristics of the national letter, giving a few interpretive brushstrokes to illustrate the horoscope of Peru, already rectified, which I show below.
The interpretation of the horoscope of a country is not difficult, as it stated in the section on horoscopes of countries, at the beginning of this work. The reading of a national theme maintains a certain parallelism with that of a native theme; the architecture is very similar, saving the distances between both realities, of course.

Figure 16
The horoscope of Peru.
For example: it is evident that certain configurations of the Peruvian horoscope can not go unnoticed. Thus, 6 planets in Fire signs must have been shown, in some way, in the historical voyage of this nation. Also the fact that 7 of the 10 planets are in the upper hemisphere of the letter has to be evident in its mood as a country. And the 3 planets in the sign of Leo, being one of them the Sun, that angular and therefore more powerful, more than justify the healthy pride of the Peruvian, aware of his glorious past but looking ahead to the future. It is also remarkable a Great Trine of Fire, something open but valid in this national chart; However, this configuration can represent a latent value, at rest or asleep, especially in a letter without oppositions between planets. Here, potentially houses that involve such an interplanetary figure will be important.
The 3 planets in House X, including the two luminaries and being one of them (the Moon) the ruling planet of said house, show the strong external projection of the country. This is visible, internationally, in the strong tourist attraction that the country has, both for its rich ancestral culture (Machu Picchu, Nazca) and for its geography, with tourist areas of great interest, such as Lake Titicaca, the jungle , the coast and the interior, all of them very varied and with a rich flora and fauna, which can be seen in their reserves and national parks. Excellent gastronomy is also part of this interesting tourist offer, despite the fact that the culinary qualities of Peruvian cuisine have already crossed their borders and are known all over the world. Also, note that the Moon in Cancer has a lot to do with the kitchen itself, being its location in sector X a configuration that allows an extraordinary projection, both nationally and internationally.
The natural resources of Peru are impressive; in this way, it is not uncommon to find the Sun in Leo and the Moon in Cancer, both domiciled and in sector X, since this country is the first world producer of Silver (Luna-Cancer) and the fifth world producer of gold (Sun -Leo).
Other elements of the letter are also very visible, such as the Ascendant in Libra, which makes the average Peruvian a correct, educated, kind person, with an easy deal. Or the same Sun, in the sign of Leo and angular. Leaving aside the traditional Peruvian patriotic pride, deeply rooted from always, there are many other meanings derived from this powerful combination (Sun in Leo in House X), as its relationship with gold; Certainly, the history of Peru has always been linked to this noble metal: from ancestral cultures, already disappeared, to our days, given its status as a world producer of gold. The Sun also appears in some of the historical Peruvian flags: in the first republican flag, in the flag of Miller and in the flag of Torre Tagle. In the new flag of 1825, the sun disappears but gold appears on its shield, with a cornucopia that spits gold coins, in clear allegory of the abundance of natural resources of the country, like gold itself. The Sun reappears on the flag of the Peru-Bolivia Confederation and the new one of 1950, proposed by the dictator Manuel Odría. The current flag does not contain the Sun, but it includes again in its shield the cornucopia and the gold coins.
Even the word “Sun” appears in the “March of the Flags”, a musical creation sung at the time of hoisting the flag:
“It is the flag of Peru, of red and white color, which flame of love, that in Ayacucho and Junin, victorious dawned with the Sun of freedom …”.
And it appears in its national currency, today and yesterday: the Sun or the New Sun, the Golden Sun (which is already curling the curl) and the Silver Sun.
We also find the Order of the Sun, also called the Order of the Sun of Peru, a decoration that has been granted by the government of this country to its most outstanding citizens and foreigners who have excelled in different fields, such as culture or politics.
In a nation’s charter, the Sun in the X House tends to attract powerful presidents or presidents, with great ambitions or authoritarians. And although it is the case of Peru, in its letter we also find the Moon in that sector, in a sort of conjunction dissociated with the Sun, so to speak. In this way, there is a “popular” counterweight (Luna) to every political form or authoritarian government (Sol). I am not an expert in the history of Peru, but reflecting on this combination, to see what reading or what may have produced in the past, I remember the dictatorship of General Juan Velasco Alvarado (1968-1975), who led a pro-social dictatorship, at least in its intentions, with the alleged agrarian reform and nationalization policy; it seems to me like a dictatorship rather than the left and popular, populist; and there perhaps the Sun-Moon equilibrium of the national chart comes into play for this relatively recent epoch.
I suggest paying attention to certain interplanetary aspects of the national chart, such as the same Sun-Moon conjunction, already mentioned, or the Sun-Jupiter square, as well as the Jupiter-Saturn conjunction in the VIIth House. Also noteworthy is the opposition (not interplanetary) of Saturn to the ascending degree (orb of 5 ° 30 ‘). Or the trine between Jupiter and Neptune (1st of orb), which may be related to the strong spirituality and religiosity of this people. In this interpretative outline of the national chart, I would like to comment on two important configurations: The first one refers to the position of Mars (in Gemini ), which is in conjunction with the IX house, with an orb of only 26 minutes of arc. As we know, this sector is assigned to foreign countries and this position of Mars, which is superimposed on the same axis III-IX, related to the geographical environment, more than justifies the different wars, conflicts and disputes with neighboring countries: with Ecuador, with Chile or with Colombia. Also the warlike clashes with Spain, in the second half of the 19th century. Even the failed confederation with Bolivia, with the union and subsequent dissolution, can be framed within this aspect. However, there is another relevant effect derived from the interception of axis III-IX: by its same (closed) opposition to House III, a sector related to communications, roads or transport, this aspect justifies the numerous traffic accidents that occur on Peruvian roads. Of course, this is due in large part to the harsh terrain of this country, with large slopes, ravines and difficult routes; and in the national issue, in any case, the combination already mentioned justifies this reality. Note also that, for the ambivalent effect of the position of Mars on axis III-IX, we find a complex configuration that adds to what has been said: the Uranus-Neptune conjunction in the same House III.
The second configuration to be highlighted, for the obvious and important that it is for the country, is the position of Pluto in House VI. I relate this aspect, among other things, to the important mining activity in the country. If I am not mistaken, mining is the backbone of the Peruvian economy: the extraction of gold, silver, copper, other metals and natural resources found in the subsoil, such as oil or heavy oils, is one of the activities of the country, from a productive and exporting point of view. And Pluto, which represents everything hidden and underground, speaks to us here of mines and underground excavations, because it is not in vain that it is in House VI, related to the activity of the country itself, what it does, produces or sells . Note that previously, in the section corresponding to horoscopes of countries, we said that this sector is attached to the factories and to employment in general, which should be seen as a strong occupation of the labor force in these tasks: the mining activity and the exploitation of the country’s natural resources, whether mineral or hydrocarbon. On the other hand, note the suggestive parallelism that we can establish between what sector VI means in a native theme, for a person, and what this sector can mean in the horoscope of a country: it is not difficult to infer that the combination of Pluto- House VI has to be necessarily circumscribed to the labor, productive activity of the country and, in this specific combination, to the mining activity of Peru.
In relation to this configuration, I also suggest studying how this configuration (Pluto in House VI) is related to the rest of the national chart at the interplanetary level. Note that Pluto is in trine (exact) to the Moon (in House X), which is a perfect channel for the mining activity to have a good platform to sell what is produced or extracted from the bowels of the earth: Peru It offers the world its natural resources. In addition, this perfect trine (orb of only 10 minutes of arc), curiously highlights the Moon, which in astrology is related to silver and, not in vain, Peru is the world’s leading producer of silver. However, the planet Pluto is square to the Uranus-Neptune conjunction of sector III. I do not know very well the reality of the national mining industry, but a possible reading to be made would be that there has always been a certain difficulty or hindrance in the commercialization of the mineral product, whether precious metals or hydrocarbons. Somehow, the intermediaries, the merchants or the companies that mediate (House III) between the process of the extraction itself and the fact of exporting the mineral or product of the land, suppose a certain ballast, of economic, bureaucratic or factual, to a productive activity that would have to be, a priori, very advantageous for the whole of the nation. In any case, it is a personal reading that, surely, the local astrologer will be able to interpret better, with a better knowledge of the reality of his country.
To finish with this brief interpretation of the horoscope of Peru, I want to note that in this letter the Ascendant is in conjunction with the fixed star Spica (orb of 15 ‘of arc) and also with Arcturus (orb 39’ of arc).
Events of the past and the national horoscope
In this section, I want to put into consideration the recipients of this paper a surprising reality: certain historical events of the past, relating to what we know today as Peru, are closely related to the horoscope (rectified) that I present in this work. This section is the most experimental and esoteric part, some will say, of the present investigation and also the most surprising. I know that it is difficult to understand how a horoscope raised for 1821, which corresponds to the birth of a new state, Peru, may reflect certain events of earlier times, however much they have a close relationship with the people and with the geography of Peru. It is not my intention to enter into a judgment on this reality, nor to consider possible antecedents on the subject nor to reflect on this strange relation between the past and the present. I only expose the facts, as a seed, so that other astrologers delve into a conceptual and technical level about this fact. And also, of course, to keep looking for facts of the past, prior to the year 1821, which are related, astrologically, with the national letter of Peru. Here, I only present a few cases but, without a doubt, there are many others that await in the yellow pages of history to surprise the astrologer of tomorrow.
The reality is this: an important date of the past, previous to the date on which Peru was founded (July 28, 1821), is closely related to this country, represented astrologically by its horoscope, which we have already seen. Thus, by means of the planetary transits of the moment in which a certain important historical event occurred, prior to 1821, we find relevant and significant aspects (transits) of the event itself, as is ordinarily the case with events after 1821. That is to say, , by the planetary symbolism of the transiting planet, combined with the radical factor (angle, cusp of house or planet) and by means of the aspect (harmonic or inharmonic angle), the event that occurred … 1, 10, 100 or 300 years before Peru was born as such.
I will show some examples, noting the corresponding transits:
1. 16-11-1532: The Inca Atahualpa is captured.

Uranus (t) 0 ° MC (n). Orb: 4 °.
Pluto (t) 180 ° Moon (n). Orb: exact.
2. 26-07-1533: Atahualpa is executed.
Uranus (t) 0 ° MC (n). Orb: 1 °.
Saturn (t) 0 ° MC (n). Orb: 2 °.
Mars (t) 0 ° House VIII (n). Orb: 2 °.
Pluto (t) 180 ° Sun (n). Orb: 2 °.
3. 18-01-1535: The city of Lima is founded.
Uranus (t) 0 ° MC (n). Orb: 3 °.
Mars (t) 0 ° IC (n). Orb: 1 °.
4. 8-07-1538: Diego de Almagro dies.
Saturn (t) 0 ° House XII (n). Orb: exact.
5. 26-06-1541: Francisco Pizarro dies.
Saturn (t) 0 ° AS (n). Orb: exact.
6. 24-04-1616: Inca Garcilaso de la Vega dies.
Saturn (t) 90 ° Moon (n). Orb: exact.
Node North (t) 180 ° House XII (n). Orb: exact.
7. August 24, 1617: Santa Rosa de Lima (patron saint of Peru) dies.
Uranus (t) 0 ° MC (n). Orb: 1 °.
Saturn (t) 0 ° House VIII (n). Orb: 1 °.
Mars (t) 0 ° AS (n). Orb: 3 °.
8. 3-11-1639: San Martín de Porres dies.
Uranus (t) 90 ° Moon (n). Orb: exact.
Neptune (t) 180 ° House VIII (n). Orb: exact.
9. 05-18-1781: Túpac Amaru II dies.
Mars (t) 90 ° AS (n). Orb: 1 °.
Pluto (t) 180 ° Sun (n). Orb: 1 °. (*)
(*) Note that this same planetary transit (Pluto 180 ° Sun), we find it 248 years before, on the date of the death of the Inca Atahualpa.

10. 10. 12-03-1815: Mariano Melgar dies (poet and patriot
Peruvian).
Mars (t) 0 ° IC (n). Orb: exact.
(t): planet in transit for the date of the event.
(n): natal factor of the Peruvian horoscope.
Notice how exact the planetary aspects are. It is necessary to clarify that for this list, all transit with an orb lower than 1 ° of arc, I consider it “exact”. For example, for the death of Mariano Melgar, the orb of the transit of Mars in conjunction with the IC of the horoscope of Peru, is 43 ‘of arc.
It is necessary to clarify why for the dates of the death of the Spanish conquistadors Diego de Almagro and Francisco Pizarro, nefarious characters for the cultures and indigenous peoples of the New World, we find inharmonic transits to the Peruvian horoscope. The reason is simple: any character that in one way or another, even in a negative way for the history of the country itself, leaves a historical mark, either for leading the country at a given time or for participating in important events, of the type that it has a historical and astrological link with that country. His death will be marked in the national horoscope. In the same way, the death of Adolf Hitler had to be marked, by Transits and other prediction techniques, in the horoscope of Germany, although this Germanic leader was also disastrous for the historical voyage of the German people.
I want to refresh the memory of the astrologer who is the recipient of this paper in relation to the synastric aspects that we discussed earlier. As we saw in the corresponding section, many presidents, heroes national or relevant characters in the history of Peru, had certain radical factors in a harmonious aspect to the radix of this country. Well, I want to note another singularity that is included under the section that now occupies us: also relevant characters of the past, whose birth and historical events occurred before the birth of modern Peru (1821), show a remarkable synastry with the horoscope of this country. For example, Tupac Amaru II (n.19-03-1738), which does not need a presentation for a majority Peruvian audience, had Jupiter trine the Sun of Peru (orb of 1 °) and the Sun trine the Moon of the Peru (exact aspect). And in another sense, completely opposite, Francisco Pizarro (No. 16-03-1476), had Saturn in conjunction with the Sun of Peru (orb of 5 °) and Neptune in opposition to the House VIII of this country (orb of 2). °). I know that although the date of 1476 is the most cited as the year of his birth, some historians also bet on the years 1472 or 1478 as possible years in which Pizarro was born. In my opinion, by the observed aspects, here written down, 1476 seems the most probable year.
As the cherry on top of this section, I want to show you another sadly historical date, prior to the birth of Peru as a nation, which shows some planetary transits to the national chart of this country very indicative. It is an old document, dated in 1526, by which Pizarro, Almagro and a third person, it seems that the figurehead of some powerful character -which puts the capital for the macabre company-, agree a strategic alliance between Pizarro and Almagro The company is, in itself, the looting and the distribution of Peru.
Company deed between Pizarro, Almagro and Luque.
(according to is in the Annals of Mr. Fernando Montesinos, year of 1526).
“Know how many this letter of company you see how I, Don Fernando de Luque, priest clergyman, vicar of the holy church of Panama, on the one hand; and on the other the captain Francisco Pizarro and Diego de Almagro, neighbors that we are in this city of Panama, we say: that we are agreed and agreed to do and form company, which is firm and valid forever in this way: that for how many of us, the said captain Francisco Pizarro and Diego de Almagro, have the license of the governor Pedro Arias de Ávila to discover and conquer the lands and provinces of the so-called kingdoms of Peru (…) We make this company by the same parties, we are happy and agreed that all three sisterly, without there being any advantage any more than the other, nor the other that the other, of all that is discovered, will win and conquer and settle in the said kingdoms and provinces of Peru (…) What is the date in the city of Panama on the tenth of March, the year of the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ of one thousand five hundred and twenty-six years ”
Through this document, which I have extracted in the parts that in my opinion have a greater interest for what concerns us, a society was formalized that would be disastrous for the indigenous culture and population: the alliance between Pizarro and Almagro. Although already in 1524 we have news of certain adventures of both in this sense, this document was signed two years later.
If we observe the transits for March 10, 1526, the date on which such a macabre document was signed, we will find some striking aspects:
Mars (t) 180 ° AS (n). Orb: exact.
Pluto (t) 90 ° AS (n). Orb: exact.
North node (t) 90 ° AS (n). Orb: 3 °.
Neptune (t) 180 ° House XII (n). Orb: 3 °.
It is not necessary to comment on these transits, regarding the horoscope of Peru of 1821, since words are too many. With examples like this and those we have seen in this section, the word chance begins to lose its meaning and we enter a path almost unknown, virtually untouched, which awaits an in-depth study.

A look to the future
As it has been demonstrated in this historical-astrological study, we can confirm that Peru was born, as a country, on July 28, 1821, at 15:55:04 (GMT), in the old Plaza de Armas of Lima. At that precise moment, San Martin passionately raised the national flag and, with his already historic words, proclaimed Independence and inaugurated the voyage of this great ship that is the Peruvian people. Up to this point, we have been able to contrast the astrological signs with the events that this nation has experienced since then. We have also been able to deepen, at the astrological level, their identity as a country, bringing out their characteristics and their national idiosyncrasy. Now, from this moment, the local astrologer, native or resident in Peru and interested, logically, in the collective evolution of the geographical space that is his own, may use as a primary reference the same rectified horoscope of Peru, to analyze and, in your case, forecast the destiny of your own people in the short, medium or long term. Every political event, social, economic or cultural future, will have an adequate reflection in the Transits, Directions, Progressions or Solar Revolutions of the moment. Every event or period, of the present or of tomorrow, can be studied under a different perspective, under the wonderful astrological prism, which allows us to penetrate and investigate and, where appropriate, understand a reality determined at a national level, as the sociology, psychology or other disciplines. And from the confrontation with the future we will have, really, the litmus test of the authentication and final validation of this rectification of the horoscope of Peru. It does not correspond to me as a guest, as a simple foreign astrologer passing through these beautiful Arequipa lands, the to study the immediate or longer-term future of this noble people, heir to an ancestral culture that already conceived, as we know, the study of the stars. It is enough simply to have had the fortune to be able to work and rectify the historical horoscope of this country, from my own studies and research. It is the Peruvian astrologer, the national astrological collective, who corresponds to delve into the matter from now on. And since this II World Congress of Cosmobiology, magnificent exponent of a promising national reality in astrological matters, it can already be guessed at a Peruvian astrological collective that begins to increase in number and quality and that, without a doubt, is called to have a great weight specific within the extensive community of nations that is Ibero-America.
However, I also do not want to stop highlighting some future astrological configurations of importance. Beyond interpreting in depth some steps or planetary transits of an immediate future, it may be enough, today, to keep in mind certain astrological signs of weight that, surely, will be translated into transformations, changes and future events for Peru. . In this regard, we can note that in the next decade two heavy planetary transits coincide, simultaneously crossing the angles and touching, in turn, the two axes of the horoscope (AS-DS and MC-IC). Thus, in the 2015-2017 period (approximately), Uranus will travel the natal Descent, located at 21 ° 05 ‘of Aries, while Pluto will transit the natal IC, located at 16 ° 20’ of Capricorn. Without a doubt, it will be an important stage in the history of Peru. Of course, in order to specify in which sense these changes will be manifested or what events await them in the next decade, it will be necessary to thoroughly study all the planetary cycles and transits of the moment, together with the directions, solar revolutions and other predictive techniques that have a place in the section of world astrology that deals with the horoscopes of countries.
conclusion
Throughout this astrological investigation, we have been able to cover different aspects, both historical and astrological, related to Peru. From the validation of the date of the national horoscope to the most precise rectification that can be achieved today. Advanced predictive techniques have been used, along with a novel procedure in the correction of national or national issues: rectification with computers. And between different concepts and techniques, traditional or modern, applied to the horoscope of this country, the Topocentric System has been claimed as the true domination. It has also been introduced, for your consideration, a surprising reality, which relates past events with later horoscopes.
This work is the humble and modest homage of a Spanish astrologer to a town that was born free; but not in 1821, but thousands of years ago, losing its trace among the pre-Columbian Andean cultures.
